Caramelised Peaches

4 peaches, pitted and halved

2/3 cup (packed) brown sugar

Make-Ahead:

The caramelized peaches are best eaten warm from the oven.

Preheat the oven to 500°F. Line a heavy large baking sheet with foil and spray the foil with nonstick spray.

Place the peaches, skin side down and side by side, in the center of the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle the brown sugar over the peaches.

Roast for 25 minutes, basting once with the melted brown sugar, or until the sugar caramelizes and the peaches are golden and slightly softened.
