The American Revolution, sparked by conflict over British rule and influenced by Enlightenment ideas, broke colonial ties with a monarchy and yielded a new nation. A cause of the French Revolution was Louis XIV's pursuit of absolute authority. In February 1861, a new government was on the horizon in the United States, known as the Confederate States of America. Just Its been built into the right through the cold war, through Romney telling Obama that Russia is our chief geopolitical foe. We dont know anything about compromise. So prior to the election, Fox and Trump, both of them, and you can go back and you can see the clips and read the reports. These revolutions did not lead to long-lasting constitutional republics and were soon replaced by rulers who cared more about power than the liberal ideas that allowed them to rule in the first place and who ruled on the basis of populist politics, family networks, and military strength. The first two estates had many privileges while the Third Estate paid all the taxes and normally didn't have any voice in the government or in making laws.
