This month I was lucky enough to be a guest at the Alisal Guest Ranch & Resort and take part in their ‘Outback at Alisal’ weekend. The event is a cowboy adventure weekend bringing the Australian Outback to the California Central Coast. Guests at the event get to horseback ride, sip Shiraz and dine at an Australian and American BBQ feast.
I cooked up a five course feast for guests which included some delicious prawns and lobster as well as my take on a famous Australian dessert, Pavlova. We had such a great time at the event and really enjoyed cooking for everyone. It was extra special for me as my dad flew over from Australia to join in the celebrations. So a big thanks to everyone for making it such a great weekend.
